When to apply
The Trustees meet twice a year. Here is what you need to know about timing your application.
June Meeting
The June Trustees Meeting makes awards for the next academic year.
Apply by the end of May to be considered at the June meeting.
November Meeting
The November Trustees Meeting makes awards for the current academic year.
Apply by the end of October to be considered at the November meeting.
You can apply at any time. Your application will be held and considered at the next Trustees Meeting. Grants are generally made within three weeks of the decisions being taken.
Can I apply more than once?
Yes. You can apply at both the June and November meetings for each year that you remain in further or higher education, up to the age of 25 — as long as receipts have been received for any previous grant. You can receive only one grant per educational year.
You cannot apply for a grant to cover expenses you have already incurred. Please apply in advance of your need.
