The Iden and Frewen Educational Foundation is a registered charity.

Charity registration number: 306451

The Foundation is administered under a Scheme Deed originally made in 1934 with small amendments in 1972.

The Foundation takes the protection of your personal information seriously and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What information we collect

When you submit a grant application, we collect the personal information you provide on the form. This may include:

Your name, date of birth and contact details
Your home and term-time address
Details of your course and educational institution
Details of your grant application
Parent/guardian information (where applicable)
Educational history and qualifications

How we use your information

Any information you provide will be shared with the Trustees when your application is considered. It will not be shared with any third party unless the Trustees are legally obliged to do so.

How long we keep your data

The Administrator will hold your information in a secure place for the period required by the Charity Commission, after which it will be destroyed.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your information (subject to our legal obligations)
Object to how we use your information
